    Vor farblosem Grund sind die Vollwappen von Peter Risold und Agnes Sager auf das beschriftete Podium mit Masken- und Blumenschmuck gesetzt. Über ihren Helmdecken ist Davids Kampf gegen Goliath festgehalten. Die Wappenschilde umfasst eine rote, von drei Rollwerkstücken unterbrochene Bordüre.

    Research

    Der Tuchscherer Peter Risold († 1604) war Hauptmann nach Neuenburg (1587), Landvogt zu Morges, 1589 Hauptmann nach Gex und Thonon im Krieg gegen Savoyen sowie 1599 Landvogt zu Saanen (HBLS 5/1929, S. 644). 1571 heiratete er Agnes Sager (* 1551), die Tochter des Hans und der Maria Wysshan. Risolds Gemahlin Agnes Sager war die Schwester des Berner Schultheissen und mehrfachen Scheibenstifters Hans Rudolf Sager (1547–1623).
    Die Zuschreibung der Scheibe an Hans Huber (Foto Schweizerisches Nationalmuseum Zürich) ist unhaltbar. Von wem diese geschaffen wurde, muss beim gegenwärtigen Kenntnisstand unbeantwortet bleiben.
