Das zu einem Rundscheibchen ergänzte Fragment zeigt eine weibliche Büste in roter Kleidung. Ihre dichten blonden Locken legen sich üppig über ihre Schultern. Den breiten Ausschnitt zieren mehrere Ketten.

Der blaue Damast und die grüne Bordüre sind neue Ergänzungen. Drei Sprünge.

History

Research

Der unten in Rankendamast übergehende Rock legt dar, dass der Frauenrumpf ursprünglich als Helmzier über einen Wappenschild gesetzt war und später durch den sie umschliessenden blauen Damast zu einer Rundscheibe ergänzt wurde. Die hellgrüne Bordüre ist ebenfalls eine moderne Zufügung. Die Tracht der Jungfrau datiert das Fragment in die Zeit um 1540. Die üppigen blonden Locken und die Gesichtszüge der Figur legen nahe, dass dieses Stück noch in der Werkstatt Hans Funks oder in dessen unmittelbarer Nachfolge geschaffen wurde.
