    Drei Ergänzungen am rechten Rand, Sprünge und Sprungbleie, die Verbleiung erneuert.

    Farbloses und farbiges Glas, rotes Überfangglas mit rückseitigem Ausschliff, Bemalung mit Schwarzlot, Silbergelb und Eisenrot sowie blauer, grüner und violetter Schmelzfarbe.

    Research

    Albrecht Manuel (1611–1650), der Sohn des Vogts von Chillon Niklaus Manuel (1587–1620) und der Rosina von Wattenwyl, war seit 1630 mit Katharina von Bonstetten, Tochter des Franz von Bonstetten und der Maria von Erlach, verheiratet. 1635 wurde er Grossrat in Bern und 1640 Schultheiss zu Burgdorf (Historisch-biographisches Lexikon der Schweiz, 5/1929, S. 18). Von Albrecht Manuel sind drei weitere Wappenstiftungen bekannt. Davon stammt seine Scheibe von 1642 im Kornhaus Burgdorf (Inv. 4.1378) vom gleichen unbekannten Berner Glasmaler wie die vorliegende (vgl. BE_2481).
