Betonverglasung. Die in der Masse gefärbten Glasplatten von 20 x 20 cm und 2.5 cm Dicke wurden in der Glashütte St.-Just hergestellt.

History

Research

Das blaue Rund steht nach Johann Jakob Zemp für das Auge Gottes (Mäder & Zemp, 1958, S. 47). Fünf rote Glassteine stehen für die fünf Wunden Christi (Füsse, Hände, Kopf). Sieben kleinere rote Gläser symbolisieren die sieben Gaben des heiligen Geistes und die drei göttlichen Tugenden (Glaube, Liebe Hoffnung) und die vier Kardinaltugenden (Gerechtigkeit, Klugheit, Mässigkeit und Starkmut).
