Description

Rundbogenfenster mit drei Registern. Zuunterst reicht Maria dem neben ihr stehenden Christus (?) einen Becher, zu ihren Füssen stehen Krüge. Die Szene verweist vielleicht auf die Hochzeit von Kanaa, als Christus auf Bitte seiner Mutter Wasser in Wein verwandelt (Joh 2, 1–12). Die beiden Figuren sind von einem Kranz aus Rosen umgeben auf dem die Symbole der Lauretanischen Litanei, einem Gebet an Maria, angebracht sind (Spiegel der Gerechtigkeit, Sitz der Weisheit, Kelch, Turm, Morgenstern, Rose, Himmelspforte). Im zweiten Register ist die Geburt Christi dargestellt. Maria beugt sich zum in der Krippe liegenden Kind herab, daneben steht Josef. Im obersten Register knien zwei betende Menschen. Wiederum umgeben Medaillons mit Mariensymbolen die Figuren.
