Description

Links steht ein Appenzeller Kämpfer mit Morgenstern in der Hand. Rechts ist der Appenzeller Freiheitsheld Uli Rotach dargestellt. Nach der Legende erschlug dieser in der Schlacht von Stoos 1405 vor einer brennenden Scheune noch fast ein Dutzend Gegner, bevor er selbst in den Flammen umkam. Im Vordergrund ist der Wappenschild von Appenzell Ausserrhoden angebracht.
