    Vor blauem Grund ist das Vollwappen der Hirschi dargestellt. Die Helmdecke ist grafisch-flächig abstrahiert und wirkt damit sehr dynamisch und modern. Das Wappentier, der springende rote Hirsch, wird vor der Helmzier wiederholt.

    Der Künstler und Glasmaler Heinrich Stäubli entwarf auf Wunsch neue Familienwappen oder modernisierte bestehende Wappen wie zum Beispiel dasjenige der Hirschi. Dabei folgte er dem Regelwerk der Heraldik, der Wappenkunde und Wappenkunst, die sich seit dem Mittelalter als adelige Repräsentationsform entwickelt hatte. Die Heraldik verlangt eine Übersetzung eines naturalistischen Motivs in eine grafische, flächige, klar umrissene und leicht zu erkennende Form und in charakteristische Farben. Stäubli blieb diesen Regeln trotz der enormen stilistischen und motivischen Bandbreite seiner Entwürfe grundsätzlich treu.
