Hochrechteckige abstrakte Glasmalerei: von oben ein Halbkreis in Altrosa, der stabförmig unterteilt wird, darunter zwei ineinander gesetzte grüne Kreisformen in unterschiedlichen Schattierungen und Farbverläufen. Im Hintergrund zieht sich auf Höhe der grünen Kreise ein breites mehrfarbiges Band quer durchs Bild.

Research

Stäubli inszenierte das Zusammenspiel von Kreis und Halbkreis als Schöpfungsidee in zahlreichen freien und mobil, d.h. nicht architekturgebundenen, Glasmalereien. Dieses Form- und Farbenspiel scheint ihn zeitlebens fasziniert zu haben. Zahlreiche Entwürfe und vier Atelierbücher mit mehreren hundert Miniaturentwürfen und Studien haben sich im künstlerischen Nachlass im Vitromusée Romont erhalten, die sein Experimentieren mit Kreisformen dokumentieren.
