    Der farbige Entwurf zeigt eine Wappenscheibe, die dem Bräutigam Jakob Niederer anlässlich seiner Vermählung am 10. September 1958 von drei Personen, vermutlich Freunden, geschenkt wurde. Die hier dargestellte Appenzeller Tracht weisst Niederer als Senn (Hirte) aus. Auffällig ist die knallige Farbwahl von leuchtendem Pink und strahlendem Gelb für den Grund des Entwurfs, die der Scheibe Fröhlichkeit und Zeitmässigkeit verleiht.
