    Das Hinterglasbild ist als ein Trompe-l'œil eines vergoldeten Steinreliefs gemalt. Über dem vorkragenden Inschriftensockel öffnet sich in einem Mauerteil ein von einer Blättergirlande bekränztes Rundfenster, hinter dem frontal als Silberradierung auf schwarzem Grund das Halbfigurenbildnis Ericus Fredericus Albertis im Ornat des Geistlichen und Naturforschers erscheint.

    Die Goldradierung mit Ericus Fredericus Albertis (1724–1788) Porträt bildet zusammen mit dem Bildnis Klepperbeins PSV_578 ein Paar, das zwei Mitglieder des lutherischen Klerus von Amsterdam darstellt. Vom ersten sind noch zwei Hinterglasvarianten bekannt, ebenso eine von Paulus Weslingh, einem weiteren Kleriker dieser Stadt.
