Description

Dreiteiliges Rundbogenfenster mit einer Darstellung des Kreuzes und der Marterwerkzeuge. Um das Kreuz sind die Dornenkrone und ein weisses Tuch gewunden, Lanze und Stab mit Schwamm sind überkreuz daran festgebunden. Am obersten Teil des Kreuzes ist eine Schriftbanderole mit dem Kreuzestitel angebracht. Am Kreuzfuss Totenschädel.

Research

Die beiden in der Sakristei der 1888 neu erbauten katholischen Pfarr-und Wallfahrtskirche St. Pelagiberg erhaltenen Glasmalereien (TG_1369, TG_1370) sind nicht signiert und auch in den Protokollen der Kirchenvorsteherschaft von 1888/89 nicht erwähnt. Wahrscheinlich wurden sie wenige Jahre nach den Chorfenstern (TG_703, TG_704) eingesetzt und stammen wie diese ebenfalls aus der Zürcher Werkstatt von Friedrich Berbig (siehe Knoepfli, 1962, S. 386).
