    Description

    Im oberen Bildregister kniet der zurückgekehrte verlorene Sohn vor seinem Vater, die Mutter steht dahinter im Türrahmen. Im unteren Bildregister deckt der Barmherzige Samariter den Verletzten zu, im Hintergrund ist das Reittier zu erblicken. Eine schmale Bordüre aus hellen Gläsern rahmt die vor einen Hintergrund aus farbigen Vierecken gesetzten Szenen. Das Bogenfeld schmücken zwei Blumen.

    Im Juli 1957 fertigt Carl Roesch die Entwürfe für die beiden Fenster mit vier Gleichnissen Jesu für die evangelische Kirche Kesswil an. Im Oktober setzt er sie beim Glasmaler Kübele in St. Gallen um, und zu Weihnachten werden die beiden Fenster eingeweiht.
